Individual Therapy
The most important relationship that you have is the one with yourself. Every person has a story and my role is to help you explore and make sense of it, in this therapeutic relationship you can be yourself and feel seen and heard. Research has shown that the client-therapist relationship is the foundation to effective change. Sometimes, just by expressing your suffering and concerns out loud, in a safe non judgmental space, there can be a healthy release of emotions which begins the path to healing. Individual therapy allows you the space to explore and challenge the beliefs that you hold about yourself, and take action to create the life and future that you desire,.
I work with her clients on a wide range of concerns which include, but are not limited to, anxiety, depression, grief, loss, life transition, self compassion, anger, parenting, burnout, shame and religious and/or spiritual concerns.
My integrative therapeutic approach incorporates skills and techniques from humanistic, developmental, and cognitive behavioural, as well as psychodynamic and systemic approaches.
